GEC Surat Latest Updates

JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip has been released. Candidates can view and download it from the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination for Paper 1 will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, while Paper 2 is scheduled to take place on January 29, 2026.

GUJCET 2026 registration and fee payment last date for admission to BE/BTech and B.Pharm has been extended to January 16, 2026, with a late fee of INR 1,000. Candidates can complete the registration process online through the official website at gujcet.gseb.org. The GUJCET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on March 29, 2026.

GATE 2026 admit card release date has been postponed. The revised date for downloading the admit card will be announced shortly on the official website,gate2026.iitg.ac.in.The GATE 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.

This is a good college, if you want to study in a government college, you'll get everything here there are good teachers, stationary also available in college and canteen in kind of small but yeah it's good ..

I attended college at Government Engineering College, Surat from 2018 to 2022. It was a great experience. Made some nice friends. The culture of the institute is very productive. Lots of great faculty that actively want to propagate knowledge. NCC is a plus point in the institute. I attended 3 year training at NCC which involved lots of training camps and Republic Day and Independence Day Celebration events. The institute lacks sports infrastructure but various sports meet started happening by booking third party venues. Bright Future for the institute if sufficient resource is allocated from the funds.

Dear Student,

Although Dr. S. & SS Ghandhy Government Engineering College, Surat does not offer a direct admission to second-year diploma in engineering program, it does grant admission to regular 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering based on 10th marks. For admission to other second-year courses, students are required to have completed a diploma or B.Sc degree. Based on your marks in the Diploma or B.Sc course, you may get admission to the second year as a lateral entry student. The admission process at Dr. S. & SS Ghandhy Government is based on merit and a list is created based on the marks achieved in the qualifying exam. We hope this information was helpful to you.
